Climate projections - data for specific global warming levels
Projections of national average climate changes, for each of the standard seasons, under specific global warming levels.
Data are given for projections derived from each of the individual CMIP5, CMIP3 and QUMP models. In each case, projections are given for specific amounts of global warming above the 1961-1990 baseline (1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 °C). Since the globe had already warmed by about 0.4°C from the second half of the 19th century to 1961-1990, projections for warming from 1961-1990 of 0.6, 1.6, 2.6, 3.6, 4.6 and 5.6 °C are also given to represent warmings above pre-industrial of 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 °C (though global-mean temperature during the second half of the 19th century may have differed from its "pre-industrial" value, which is anyway poorly defined). Note that the projected changes in national average climate are expressed as changes from the 1961-1990 baseline in all cases.
Two data formats are available: csv (comma separated values) for opening directly into a spreadsheet or txt (plain text) for viewing in a web browser.
