A number of STARDEX participants will be attending the 2002 EGS Assembly, including Hans Caspary who will give an oral presentation on "Major river floods and severe winter storms linked to changes of the atmospheric circulation across Europe" in the Natural Hazard session NH2.03 on "Meteorological and hydrological hazards: diagnosis, modelling and forecasting" (Monday 22 April, 11:15, Gallieni 5, Nice Acropolis Congress Centre).Jens Hesselbjerg Christensen is organizing an informal splinter meeting for STARDEX, PRUDENCE and MICE participants on Thursday 25 April (16:00-18:00 and 20:00-22:00 in M11, Nice Acropolis Congress Centre). Further details will be circulated to project participants beforehand.
