ClimGen data for the ERMITAGE project
Summary of status on 28-Nov-2011
Data files and Figures
The data files (and in some case, graphics files containing figures) are grouped according
to the structure below. It is essential to read the log, latest entry first, for each
group so that you are aware of errors, updates, caveats etc.
All files are text (i.e., ASCII) files. The layout of the contents is fairly
self-explanatory. Descriptions of the file format and the file naming
system are available on the main ClimGen webpage.

- 2011-11-30:
- Maps showing patterns for relative precipitation change have been added (0=no change, +0.1 means 10% increase for 1 degC of global-mean temperature change.
- 2011-11-30:
- Scenarios in standard ClimGen ASCI/text output format, for RCP4.5, using pattern-scaled GENIE results combined with the CRU TS2.1 climatology and observed variability. Scenarios run from 2001-2100, monthly, on 0.5 degree resolution grid (land boxes only, excluding Antarctica). Only tmp, pre and cld patterns were available from GENIE at present, so these are the only pattern-scaled scenarios provided here.
- 2011-11-28:
- Maps showing patterns of temperature, precipitation, and cloud cover change (for seasons DJF and JJA) diagnosed from the ensemble mean of the perturbed physics ensemble of GENIE (version ou_plasiments) hav been added. Each map is expressed as change in local variable (degC,
mm/month mm/day, fraction) per degree of global warming.
