MEDALUS at CRU Mediterranean Desertification and Land Use MEDALUS is an international research project to investigate the effects of desertification on land use in Mediterranean Europe. It is funded by the Commission of the European Communities, Directorate-General XII for Science, Research and Development under its Environment Programme. The Climatic Research Unit is a participant.
