RELEASE NOTES FOR CRU CY v3.25: 20 September 2017

NOTE: Please read the main document, 'Read_Me_CRU_CY.txt', as well.

The 3.25 release of the CRU CY dataset covers the period 1901-2016.
It uses the same observation dataset that was used by v4.01, to allow
comparisons to be made. The best published reference to use is that of
the underlying dataset, CRU TS:

This release uses updated country definitions; so a parallel release is
available using the old definitions. Please see the separate file,
'Read_Me_CRU_CY_Updated_Country_Definitions.txt', for details.
