Read Me for the dataset CRU CL v1.1, Reversion of CLD Climatology

1. Introduction
Version 1.1 of CRU CL was introduced in April 2022. Its construction,
and the reason for it, is described in 'Technical_note_CRU_CL_v1.1.pdf',
which should be in the same directory as this file.

2. CLD Climatology
The construction of the v1.1 CLD climatology used the same process as
the other v1.1 variables. However, it became clear that it was, unlike
the others, not an improvement. We are therefore replacing the v1.1 CLD
climatology with the original, v1.0 climatology. We apologise for the
inconvenience.

3. Related information
The erroneous v1.1 CLD climatology has been deprecated and removed; it
is, of course, available on request.
